McQueen's Love for Nature Part 2

Alexander McQueen's love for nature by animals. As a devoted fan of Nature, Lee really used prints and patterns inspired by animals. They have been all over McQueen's collections, he was passionate about Nature and its gifts, and was plased to show us his version of nature in clothing. My personal favorite collection was fall/winter 2006, Lee demonstrated a delicate and sweet side of women by using fabrics and accessories with bird's heathers and some other touches of Nature.

Shoes of the Day - Geometric Striped Pumps

For Lee's pre spring/summer 2010, he presented us this leather black and yellow pumps showing geometric shapes that many people loved and owned. This 5 inch heels are classic and very beautiful, a must have.

Lady GaGa and McQueen

Lady GaGa is one of Lee's biggest fan. They started working with Lady GaGa's Bad Romance video. But before she should us looks from the spring/summer 2010 collection, Alexander McQueen played her son in the same collection's finale. Both of them love each other so much, and the same year Lady GaGa accepted her first ever VMA using McQueen, making the outfit one of the most memorable of GaGa.

Later she used many of his creations for many photo shoots, including Italian Vogue. GaGa's love for Alexander McQueen was shown when she paid tribute to him in the Brit Awards of 2010, singing Telephone and Dance in the Dark.

In this year's MTV's VMA, GaGa showed us that McQueen is and will always be in her heart, she used a Alexander McQueen dress form his last collection.

Its just a question of time to see when she will use more of Lee's work.

McQueen's Love for Nature Part 1

It is evident that Lee had passion for Nature. During almost all of his past collections he showed his influence in Nature. In this look back, I'll show Lee's love for Nature with plants and flowers, like in the pictures above, we can see how he introduced to us Nature's real beauty. Flowers where the most beautiful decorations he applied to the looks and showed the model's real beauty and freshness. Some looks had prints with flowers, while others had real flowers. As McQueen used to say ''Nature is a fabric itself.''
